Dr. ALICE AMEGAH - FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Dr. Alice Amegah is an expert in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) for skills development with extensive experience working on adolescent mental development, youth career guidance, youth counseling, and skills development with national, regional, and international organizations.
Alice completed a PhD in Education and International Development at the University of Cambridge, having obtained an MSc in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford. She also holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Ghana, specializing in Clinical and Education Psychology.
Her research includes young women’s participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in vocational pathways in Ghana and employers’ engagement in youth skills development. Through her youth skills development research, Alice initiated Education and Aspirations, an intervention that aims to provide disadvantaged youth with adequate information about education and career pathways to broaden their horizons and prepare them for better education and career transitions.
Alice is a 2022/2023 World Bank Africa Education Fellow with the World Bank Education Global Practice Group. She is currently a consultant at the World Bank working on multiple EdTech and Skills Development projects globally. Alice is passionate about empowering youth to propel the global self-sustaining Agenda. She enjoys traveling and sightseeing.

My name is Emmanuella Boahenmaa Owusu, and I’m an intern graphic designer at Education and Aspirations Hub.
I’m also a Computer Science student at Ghana Communication Technology University.
My studies in computer science have given me a strong foundation in technology, which I apply to my design work.

CLIMESIA ELIKPLIM SOGLOHU - STEM TVET OFFICER
I am Climesia Elikplim Soglohu, an experienced science educator with a rich teaching background spanning five years. I specialize in biology, chemistry, and English, and my dedication to science is reflected in my ongoing pursuit of the latest research and the innovative use of technology to enhance student learning.
My teaching effectiveness is evidenced by my students’ stellar exam results, which speak to my strong pedagogical and assessment skills. I am driven and goal-oriented, qualities that I believe will allow me to make a substantial impact in any educational context.
Currently working with the Ghana Education Service, I am also deepening my expertise by studying data science. My ambition is to evolve into a research scientist, focusing on identifying and addressing the educational gaps in science within developing African nations. I hold a hands-on science training certification and have been recognized as a global leader by the University at Buffalo. Additionally, I have recently completed my undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry Education.
My commitment to educational excellence and my comprehensive teaching experience make me a valuable asset in the field of science education. I am proactive in seeking ways to enhance the academic experience for my students, and I am confident in my ability to excel in any future educational role I undertake.

I’m someone who loves to dive into captivating stories at my free time. When I’m not lost in a book, you can find me binge-watching videos and movies.
On the professional side, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a clinical engineering unit. I’m currently interning as a Biomedical Engineer at St. Dominic’s Catholic hospital.

My passion lies at the intersection of medicine and engineering, which is why I’m pursuing a path in biomedical engineering.
