Our Flagship Channels

Inspiring the Future

It has become crucial to create an intentional and impactful process to inspire children and young people about diverse education and career pathways. Effective employer engagement in education and training like career talk and assembly talk in schools can inspire young people, challenge stereotypes and improve social mobility. Inspiring the Future is an interactive career talk event where young people meet speakers from the world of work physically or virtually. Speakers share stories about their education and career journey with children and young people in schools. Young people then have the opportunity to interact with speakers during the questions and answers session.

Inspiring STEM-TVET

The demand for expertise in STEM and TVET is increasing rapidly across the globe. However, fewer young people enrol in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the worst participation is among young women. It has therefore become imperative to intentionally design Inspiring STEM-TVET as a practical step to address this problem. Inspiring STEM-TVET is an in-person event designed for young people in junior high schools to watch and listen to presentations about education and careers in STEM-TVET. The presentations usually feature videos and pictures of young people, especially young women studying STEM-TVET courses and those in STEM-TVET careers. Our aim is to inspire more young people, especially girls to choose STEM-TVET.

Inspiring Apprenticeships

Skills development is crucial to the sustainable development goals 4 (ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all) and 8 (promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all). However, many young people do not have the interest or the opportunity to gain skills through apprenticeships. Therefore, Inspiring Apprenticeships is an intentionally designed system that aims to ensure that in addition to theoretical knowledge gained in school, young people engage in apprenticeships that provide practical work-place learning opportunities during long vacations. Our targets are junior high school graduates, senior high school students and technical school students.
